AVCIARCHITECTS is proud to be architects of the new headquarters building for the Turkish Contractor’s Association. Located in the capital city of Ankara, the project is sustainably designed from the ground up, and intends to send a clear, future-oriented message from the Turkish building industry to the world at large. From Turkey’s first modern underground labyrinth for passive conditioning, to the meticulously designed shading apparatus on the facade, the building speaks volumes about the possibility of feasible, effective, and collaboratively-designed sustainable systems, coupled with an architectural image that stands on the global stage.
In keeping with our principles of holistic and integrated design, AVCIARCHITECTS brought to a single table the heads of the Turkish contracting industry, sustainable engineering experts from the UK, local partners, and LEED green building ratings professionals. The result, currently under construction, proves the effectiveness of collaborative design and future-oriented thinking within the context of one of Turkey’s strongest and most traditional industries.
