The Bistra Castle spaces awaiting refurbishment were in the meantime used for the historical overview of lynx’s existence in Slovenia. Within a very limited budget, the castle walls were transformed into lynx’s habitat and a cage quarantine used for its reintroduction in the 1970s was symbolically placed into it. Existing niches were turned into showcases, attracting visitors’ attention with their contrasting colour.
