Budapest’s five-hundred year old Rudas thermal spa is just the beginning of Rudas potential as the city’s newest (oldest) destination. Our masterplan proposes eating in Danube River-side restaurants, shopping in a redeveloped historic bazaar, and spending a night in an upper-level boutique hotel overlooking the river outside. This is, of course, after swimming in the Ottoman-era thermal spa under beams of diffused light, have a relaxing aromatherapy massage, or attending an invigorating pilates session at the modern gym. The result is a holistic body experience that brings to life the richness of Rudas’ past with the best that modern Budapest has to offer today.
Enthused by the unique aura of Rudas, our aim is to build a complex that revitalises the centuries-old Turkish bathing culture and to infuse it with the most contemporary offerings in body treatment and sensual experience, feeding the needs and desires of the modern urban individual while honoring the city's great history.
