Casa HanegraafCentral London Spring 2009
This property is a currently occupied semi detached house split over three levels. The strategy of the design was to open up the currently cellular lower level in to a living dining and kitchen area with an extension of the kitchen through a Oak framed glass box to the garden. On the upper levels, the parents are moved to the top of the house, where they now occupy a parent’s suite, while the children are provided with their own rooms on the first floor. A guest wing over the kitchen also doubles up as a study and daytime space for the family.
